The trip to Janda Baik was quite the experience for me as I have never been to the nature side of the state. We started with bonding games, where everyone did a bunch of fun activities like the earthquake, the suspecting game and many more. After the warm-up, we had a list of activities that included fishing, taking pictures, synchronised dancing, building a bridge, archery, mini-golf, and target shooting. Oasis Network Vice President of Operations, Dr. Duane Jobe, recently visited OIS. While there, he congratulated Mr. Ben Hale and Dr. Jessica Hale on contributing twenty years as educators and in administration to the Oasis International Schools Network. They served within the Oasis Network at Yongsan International School in Seoul for 12 years prior to serving here in Malaysia to launch Oasis International School – Kuala Lumpur. GEMS International School’s two-week-long Swimming Gala came to a splashing finish on 31 March 2022. Students competed in various categories such as butterfly, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and the little ones’ favourite – the noodle race to gain house points. This was also a fantastic opportunity to uncover promising prospects who may represent GEMS International School at upcoming swimming competitions.
