On March 3rd and 4th, Oasis International School – Kuala Lumpur offered campus tours for the first time at Info Day. It was an exciting event that gave the OIS faculty and staff an opportunity to meet with families and to see many people enthusiastic about the beautiful school. Many thanks to all of the enrolled and interested families who made OIS’ first Info Day a success! OIS is currently running open tours on Thursdays at 4 pm and Fridays at 3 pm. The culmination of Mandarin Week at Sri KDU International School (SKIS) was the special assembly held on 8 February. Stepping out of his History class, Mr Zimarakis, dressed in the dragon robe of the God of Prosperity, gold ingot in one hand and scroll in the other, welcomed students, staff, and parents who had come to witness a show of the cultural heritage of the Malaysian Chinese organized by the school’s Mandarin department. Eeson Tong, a student of R.E.A.L International School’s Johor Bahru Campus, was awarded a scholarship to attend the Kingdom Education (KE) Summer School programme at King’s College, London last year. The two-week programme is offered to high school students aged 15 to 17 years who want a taste of university life in English-speaking countries. The Master of Marlborough College Malaysia is pleased to announce that Nick Eatough will become Head of the Senior School in August 2018. Nick arrived at Marlborough in August 2015 when he was appointed as Deputy Head Pastoral and Cocurricular, a key position in the Senior School and within the College’s Senior Leadership. The end of 2017 saw R.E.A.L Schools, Cheras Campus hold its annual art exhibition, the ‘Meraki 2.0 Art Festival & Carnival’, to showcase the artistic talents of students, teachers, and several guest artists. The exhibition featured a collection of paintings and other forms of artwork that creatively utilized a mixed bag of media and materials. The IB Juniors of Sri KDU International School organised activities to create more awareness on the plight of breast cancer patients. The activities comprised of a bazaar and cake bake sale, writing empowering messages and quiz during lunch time, sponging the teachers, Mufti Day fashion. Funds raised during this event were channelled to the Malaysian Breast Cancer Welfare Organisation which supports breast cancer victims, and to Breast Cancer Research Malaysia. Some of the proceeds will be used to build homes for underprivileged Cambodians through the IB CAS Cambodia Trip Fund.

She is an experienced Prep School Head who has led Trinity Prep School in Devon with distinction since 2012, and the significant growth in the school’s numbers reflects parental confidence in her leadership.
