Legoland Malaysia has opened its first water park! Legoland Malaysia’s Water Park is the first one in Asia, and the biggest in the world! According to Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of Legoland Malaysia, “The water park, which is the first in Asia and also the largest in the world, will add a whole new dimension to the Legoland Malaysia experience.” He also added that the new water park could be enjoyed as a single attraction or in combination with the theme park. The New Straits Times reports that Legoland Malaysia will start restricting entries into the theme park during peak periods when it is necessary. This is to ensure that all visitors will get to fully enjoy the facilities comfortably. The theme park was opened on 15 September 2012, and has seen a good success since. Those planning on visiting Legoland Malaysia once it opens (on 15 September 2012) can take advantage of the bus and shuttle services, which will begin operation on the opening day itself. These buses will operate every day from Johor Bahru’s Larkin Bus Station, Gelang Patah Sentral and Johor Premium Outlets. A daily dedicated bus service, operated by Konsortium Transnasional Berhad (KTB), will leave Larkin for Legoland every thirty minutes between 09.00am and midday. Return buses will run from Legoland to Larkin from 04.00pm until 06.30pm from Sunday to Friday. On Saturdays, school holidays and public holidays, the buses will run until 08.30pm. Each…
