Committed to expanding students’ horizons while making a positive difference in the lives of the underprivileged, a trip to Laos was successfully organised by R.E.A.L International School, Shah Alam Campus earlier this year. The tour included a visit to the Cooperative Orthotic and Prosthetic Enterprise Centre (COPE), a local non-profit organisation that is entrusted with designing and making customised prosthetic limbs for landmine victims. The seventh edition of the popular First Lego League (FLL) saw the tournament take on a green theme. Recently, R.E.A.L International School (RIS) took part in the Majlis Sukan Negara Elite Under-12 Golf Tournament. The three-day tournament – part of the SportExcel national junior golf circuit – was jointly organised by Nestlé Milo Malaysia and the National Sports Council to develop young golfers with the skills to compete at various levels as well as to build and improve their finesse in the sport. It was that eagerly-anticipated time of the year again when the community of R.E.A.L Schools, Cheras Campus come together to celebrate its annual Sports Carnival. The May 2016 examinations were taken by over 149,000 pupils around the world who achieved an average Diploma point score of 30 out of a possible maximum of 45. Of the first Marlborough College Malaysia cohort of 41 pupils taking these examinations, over 80% achieved at or above the world average and 20% achieved 40 points or more.
